Mid City Complete Remodel
This hidden gem in a great location in Mid City was converted from a double shotgun to a spacious family home, complete with a separate suite with sink and private bath that can be closed off for short term rental or visitors.

Uptown Addition, Camp
New Orleans has an abundance of narrow, double shotgun homes. Architect Tom Holloman redesigned this former double shotgun house with an aging addition on the back and converted it to a single family residence. Craig and team demolished and rebuilt a 450 square ft addition on the back of the house with vaulted ceiling, recessed LED lighting, a deck, new kitchen with island cabinet layout and waterfall countertops and a bathroom. The floor plan was redesigned to maximize space while customizing room layout to the clients specifications which includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an office. Additional features included barn doors, pocket doors, custom shelving in the kitchen made from recycled cypress. Barn and pocket doors are a popular space saving idea for small rooms.

New 17 SEER AC system
Tankless Water Heater - continuous supply of hot water, uses less energy
Spray foam insulation - reduced utility costs
New Marvin Integrity Low-E2 with Argon double paned windows - Argon is denser than the atmosphere, providing more thermal efficiency than just having air between the panes
Energy Star rated doors - reduced utility costs
Red Oak hardwood flooring

These narrow houses with tiny side yards provide a challenge to moving supplies and materials around but Craig and team enjoy navigating the job site, and always leave the site clean at the end of the day!

Uptown Addition, Milan
A two story, single family residence uptown needed additional living space. A 900 square ft, two story addition designed by Andrew Liles was added to the rear of the house after demolishing a smaller addition. The new space on the ground floor included a living room with French doors leading to a ground floor porch and a storage room with potential to become a bathroom. On the second floor there is a bedroom with generous storage provide by another storage tower, a bathroom with a toilet, free standing tub, shower enclosure, custom vanity cabinet with vessel sinks. The bathroom ceiling has a Polygal panel to allow soft lighting to come through from above. Polygal products are polycarbonate sheets with an internal structure of ribs, making them strong but light-weight, in addition the air inside the sheets gives them insulating properties. The upper porch is supported by two cantileverd beams and has a custom made handrail and a screened seating area. The rear exterior wall was clad with diamond shaped architectural shingles.
Westbank Attic Renovation
Attic space can be a goldmine for a budget friendly renovation and can add lots of square feet and value to the home. The attic space in this renovation had already been converted to a family room (no bathroom) but was in need of updating. Craig and team converted the family room to a Master bedroom and bathroom with toilet, tub and shower, vanity unit with sink, countertop, mirrored door medicine cabinets. A storage closet was added to the bathroom. They also added pendant lighting. In the bedroom they installed beautiful wood paneled ceilings - SilvaStar Beach Cottage White SPF board, cork tiled walls, wood floors, barn doors. Recessed canned LED lighting achieves a modern look.

Uptown Bathroom Reno
This uptown condo's bathroom needed updating. We added a custom shower with subway tiles, repaired the original pine hardwood flooring and constructed a barn door leading to the new wall mounted toilet. Wall mounted toilets save space and give a modern feel to your bathroom. The medicine cabinet above the vanity is flush with the wall creating sleek lines.

Bathroom Remodel - custom mud base shower enclosure
A narrow bathroom had an outdated tub with old tiles on the walls and floor. We added a custom mud base shower enclosure & doors, new flooring, vanity & mirror, windows, painted and installed a claw foot tub.
